The short version

One prize is available each calendar month: a Paid Discovery for the winner's own firm. A Paid Discovery is about a week of work reviewing the firm's website, reputation and pipeline, ending in a written readout. It is normally sold for £499 excluding VAT. There is no cash alternative, and the prize cannot be sold or exchanged. The winner may pass it to the firm they work for.
You can enter if you are 18 or over and you run or work for a business. Founders, employees and contractors of Fortitude Media, and members of their households, cannot win. Anyone can still play and appear on the leaderboard.
Entry is free and no purchase is needed. You can race as often as you like. Your fastest lap in the month counts. Each person can win once in any twelve months.
The winner is the entrant with the fastest Chiltern Time Trial lap on the leaderboard for the calendar month, using London time. The month runs from 00:00 on the first day to 23:59 on the last day. If two laps are equal to the hundredth of a second, the one set first wins.
Every lap is checked when it is submitted: the game records the controls used, and our server replays them through the same game to confirm the time. We may disqualify any lap or entrant we reasonably believe used automation, altered the game or broke these terms, and our decision on this is final.
We will email the winner within ten working days of the end of the month. If the winner does not reply within fourteen days, or cannot accept the prize, we may offer it to the entrant with the next fastest lap. We will agree dates for the Paid Discovery with the winner, and it must start within six months of the win.
The leaderboard shows the initials and, if given, the company of every driver. We will only name a winner in a LinkedIn post or elsewhere with their permission.
We use the email you give only to run the prize and, if you ask for it, to tell you when someone beats your time. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data and how to ask us to delete it. You can leave the prize at any time by emailing hello@fortitudemedia.ai.
We may change or end the prize by updating this page. A change will not affect a month that has already started, unless something outside our control makes it necessary.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
