TCC Group · Paid Discovery

Three brands, one group.AI could only see the pieces.

AI assistants rated TCC Group highly where they knew it. On the two areas the group invests in most, they did not mention it at all. We found out why in a week, and handed over a plan TCC's own team used to build the new tcc.group.

The problem

Rated highly where AI knew it. Invisible where it mattered most.

TCC Group has advised regulated firms for more than two decades across three brands: TCC for advisory and managed services, Recordsure for compliance AI, and Momenta for specialist resourcing.

ChatGPT already placed TCC top for outsourced suitability reviews. But on Consumer Duty and Section 166, the two areas the group backs hardest, the assistants named other firms and not TCC. One had stopped recognising the UK firm altogether, and none of them connected the three brands.

Joanne Smith, Executive Chair, commissioned a Paid Discovery to find out exactly what AI search was saying about the group, and why.

What we found

What the Paid Discovery found

It was not a content problem. TCC's team was publishing good material and one assistant was already leading with it. What failed was underneath: a site organised around internal teams rather than the questions buyers ask, pages that half-answered the same question so neither was cited, and machine-readable data that declared a name, a logo and nothing else.

What we did

A plan written to be built by anyone.

  1. 01

    The structure

Ten solution pages, one for each problem a buyer types, from Section 166 and FCA intervention to vulnerable customers, plus sector hubs and one group page telling the story once.

  2. 02

    Three page templates

Specified block by block: the question as the heading, an answer inside ninety words, dated facts, FAQ markup and a named practice lead, so every future page is ready for AI the day it is published.

  3. 03

    The page register

A decision for every one of the 624 pages, with the best-ranking pages flagged for protection through the move.

  4. 04Week one

    Week-one assets

A machine-readable description of the group for all three sites, llms.txt, case study markup and a monitoring file with the exact questions, scoring rules and baseline.

  5. 05

    To the client's standard

TCC's technologists set the bar and we wrote it into the specification: secure by design, WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility, consent, HubSpot integration, and TCC owning every credential.

  1. Opens with the buyer's question, as they would type it
  2. One solution page for each problem a buyer types
What changed

Built in-house, to the blueprint.

The Discovery gave TCC three ways forward: build with us, take the plan and build it in-house, or stop. TCC chose to build it with its own team, and the new tcc.group is live, built to the plan, with nothing about it depending on Fortitude.

Ten solution pages and nine sector hubs now open with the buyer's question, and the group is declared as one entity with three connected brands. The baseline test re-runs every month, and an improvement only counts when it holds across consecutive runs.
